Just logged on again (first time in a few weeks, thank God the “let’s live all in the office til the damn relaunch is done” period is over).

The new ships are looking sweet, there are still a few bugs, but I’m sure we’ll see a patch-patch today. ;) The new autodock MODx will undergo some …interesting… tests soon, I guess. BaadF00d mentioned something about trying to dock a full tow with this thingie. We’ll see.

Felt good to finally fly again.

Relaunch went pretty smooth, all’s online and working now. We’re still fixing some minor bugs and issues, but it’s looking pretty good so far.

Our board users are complaining because it’s not the old crappy forum anymore but instead a new and more powerful system. “Doesn’t look like the old one, we want the old one back blablabla…” Amazing, truely amazing. Well, some are complaining, not all of them.

I finally got some time for my own projects again, and so I’ve finished the first version (read: beta) of the new PJG event/squad calendar, supporting permissions (user group A can post this kind of event but not that one) and squads (private, internal squad entries are possible). I sent out the mail to my testers, i.e. Themis, Netdevil, Mightygames and squad Yggdrasil. I’m thinking about asking another one or two squads to help with the testing, not sure about it yet. Finally people will be able to post different types of events themselves; thus should coordinating events and stuff much easier, especially since the events are commentable.

I hope to find some time in the near future for some necessary G-Blog.net enhancements and rewrites, but luckily it’s looking good. :) Got some ideas related to multi-category posting and a more open layout, maybe even with customizable blogs. Plus I need to clean up some code, finally write the admin stuff, and I think about releasing the code. We’ll see.

Just got home from sleeping for roughly four hours (more or less). As it turns out, it wasn’t enough. Oh, and we’ll launch in a few minutes.

Past 1am, still in the office. We’re relaunching prosieben.de in about 6 hours… I think I’ll go home to crash for a few hours.

PlanetCrap v6.0 has been launched, and it’s running on Morn‘s new blah engine. It’s looking really sweet, and I can’t wait to grab the code once it’s released. I’m curious what you can do with that baby, hehe. ;)

PlanetCrap, rock on! I’m a more or less frequent lurker, and I love the site for it’s concept and interesting “inhabitants” (many high-caliber game devs are hanging out there, btw).

Which reminds me that I have not nearly enough time to work on G-Blog, dammit. I got enough stuff on my todo list at the moment, spot #1 is the big event/squad calendar for PJG. But I got some ideas for G-Blog which I’d like to play around with (read: implement), too… hmm, maybe I should take a few days off once the relaunch of prosieben.de is done.

We’ll see. If you got some ideas, post ‘em here. Thankyouverymuch.
