Reading “Shampoo Planet” by Douglas Coupland at the moment. His style of writing is sometimes just strange, sometimes just funny and sometimes just sharp. The book is a bit …don’t know… odd so far, and I’ve already read three quarters of it. It’s enjoyable, yet weird. I loved his “Microserfs” – excellent book.

Dana’s listening to music by Björk while she dresses up – we’re invited to my still-but-soon-former boss’ birthday party.

Watching her dress up is always nice, but Björk’s music somehow scary, so the effects negate eachother, thus I’m neutral-minded again. Heh. :) Björk’s songs always sound like she was listening to a completely different track when she was in the studio for the vocals; it sounds like they’ve randomly mixed her vocal tracks before they were mixed with the instrumental tracks. I’m quite sure you’d get beautiful and lovely songs if you replace any song’s vocals with the right, intended vocals for it. Hmm.
