Apparently, the invasion forces are wrecking some of mankind’s most valuable historical sites — Babylon. I’ve read a highly disturbing article in the Süddeutsche Zeitung yesterday, but since many of you don’t speak German and I don’t have any links to that story, I can point you towards a nice collection of related links.

Fucked up. Truely fucked up. I mean, it’s pretty old school; the winner is trampling on the culture of the loser. Still, I would’ve expected more sensibility.

Deadly Bloody Serious About Python 20.1.2005:

[Quote] I’m thoroughly enjoying del.icio.us at the moment. The python tag feed is like drinking from the fire hose, but throws up a wonderful gallimaufry of old and new stuff. Together with Planet Python (feed) and the python.org feed, I’m as mercilessly up-to-date as is possible without reading python-dev. If only someone would scrape a feed from the python-dev summaries… [Quote]

[via Daily Python-URL] Garth was asking for it, so here it is — an RSS feed for the python-dev mailing list archives. Have fun.
