Out of sheer boredom and the need to do a little PvP research, I recently found myself exploring the Deeprun Tram on a local roleplaying server. With exploration under way, I trekked deep within the confines of the tram and found something rather unusual. What was this standing before me? Two naked night elves of course.

Hijinks ensued.

That is priceless! I'm wiping the tears from my eyes. I'm sorry; I consider myself a roleplayer in fact I roleplay quite consistently in public (and almost always with a sense of humour) in any MMO, but that's just absurd. The poster has a point - cybering can rarely be considered roleplaying, especially as the context (which is what usually makes it RP to those...ahem...involved) is alien to all but the, er, participants. Maybe the dwarf was a little crass but then hey, he's a Dwarf! Get off your high horse and pull your pants on, Elf-boy. If you're going to cyber in a public place, on a roleplay server, deal with the inevitable consequences. Reminds me of the pre-MMO neopagan IRC chat rooms I used to drop by; almost everyone had nicks like "Galadriel" and "Arwen" and speaketh as of the fair folk, m'lord.

I reckon the dwarf guy was properly into his character. :-) Although I wish I hadn't heard the term "Dwarven Hand Cannon", that one's gonna haunt me for a while.

Nothing to say against semi-publicly acting out a romantic encounter, especially on an RP server, but this is way over the top. :) Hilariously so.

I do reckon Gedran the Perverted deserves some kind of award for proper, yet twisted, in character response.

I do wonder how far into the Deeprun Tram they are.
